THE SIN OF EARTHLY ADAM

The bitter burdens weigh heavily
on love that's been scorned.
If the blind lead the blind, you see,
both will end up in the pit.

But today, they spit in the palms
of some wanderer from Eden.
With glee at their blindness to calm,
they dig at the earth on their bellies.

Alas! Human nature
doesn’t heed Heavenly pleas.
It desires not a single ache,
only to eat and to sleep with ease.

And for long it will scratch and claw
with claws right down to hell,
where the bat and the mole draw
their masquerade in a swell.

No saint could weep for them, caught
on the cross in despair.
The world is shrouded in darkness;
the earth is wrapped in twilight air.

Amidst the spite, fury, and jeers,
the sightless will fade away,
where sin will roll them in death's fears—
the sin of earthly Adam, they’ll pay.

EVERYTHING IS WORTH MY FAITH

I saw beautiful skies.
I saw waters, crystal blue.
I saw the innocent dew
in orchards laden with fruit.

I saw the lofty stars.
I saw time taking flight.
I saw deep furrows,
where seeds are sown in the night.

I saw the wise light's script.
I saw unbroken ancientness.
I saw in the invisible heights
the longing of the entire Universe.

With awakened eyes, I beheld
the wondrous limits of this Earth,
and there’s no way to silence
my spirit’s Holy Truth.

That Truth is such that even today
our hearts remain blind as can be,
even when a Message visits us
from God in blazing hands so free.

He gifted us Himself!
I hope that mankind sees this!
A new life will be created,
while the old one will cease to exist…

And a world of countless miracles
will float with Him in the cosmos!
I can hardly bear it,
but everything - the faith - is worth it…

A CONVERSATION WITH MY LORD!

O Lord of all Heavenly Grace!
Grant me Spirit and Strength in this dark world!
For Caesar frightens me with tragic news
and seeks to capture my spirit through deceit…

Look to Me, my son! Do not worry!
The world will vanish amid treachery and lies!
Sinners will perish and all that crawls,
if they lack redeeming tears for Heaven!

O Lord! Uphold my heart with Faith,
for the evil spirit of the beast is hard to endure!
Your blood today is scorned by the godless elite,
sly as a viper and with a devilish face…

Do not bend, my son! Remember My covenant,
and an angel will protect you from all evils!
Even if they punish you with the hottest flame,
I will be with you in the fiery furnace!

O Lord! Before You, I stand humble and quiet!
When darkness falls – in Your Spirit, it is Day!
Come! Hurry with Your two-edged Sword
to pierce Evil with Your Holy stroke!

I am coming soon, my son! In the blink of an eye!
For My own, I am Justice! For the unclean – woe!
Wait for me in the South with your gentle yearning,
for I have redeemed you and covered you with Eternity!

THE SCALES OF THE SPIRIT WILL PREVAIL!

I do not want flashy tinsel
to beguile my eyes,
but may the Lord guide me
with His righteous scales.
May a crushed reed
bestow mercy upon my spirit,
and it will call upon Heaven,
before it is consumed by evil.

I do not want glittering chandeliers
at some festive banquet,
where wine flows
over a Covenant trampled underfoot.
Rather, I would hide a lamp
with a wick, blackened by sorrow,
for it, amidst the blind stillness,
awakens all my pity.

I do not wish to eat and drink to my heart’s content
with wealthy princes,
for in their palaces
there is not even a breath of Eden.
But let my feast be with the hunchbacked and the lame,
for if I forget them - woe is me,
since God remembers them last.

With faith, let me sink
to the most insignificant souls.
And in them let me sow and reap…
And may Love comfort them too…
For that moment is coming when
the scales will tip with the Spirit,
and God will richly reward
each one as much as they deserve…

DAVID'S HARP

David's harp plays a ringing tune.
The olive tree bears its fruit.
God pours out His goodness from the Spirit,
Faithful to His people, He stays true.

The White Dove stretches its wings,
Creating mighty faith with ease.
Strong in the Word and glorious in deeds,
The Lord burns bright in our souls.

So much has passed; little remains.
The late rain gently falls.
The Bride awaits in pure attire
For a wedding with the Heavenly One, she calls.

She'll open the pearl gates
In a moment blessed and divine.
The cups will overflow with wine —
Spirit, praised from the Vine.

The temple will glow with pillars of white.
In hymns, the City will sing.
Glory will bloom across heavenly heights
With a longing like palm leaves in spring.

And like a fairytale — bright and alive,
A gift for the joyous life,
The Arpha will forever play its lively song,
With David's wondrous Spirit, it will thrive.

THE SIREN OF THE GUARD

With threats comes anxiety.
Even nightmares take their shape.
Somewhere, a terrifying fire ignites,
and a public building goes up in flames.

Or with some raging storm,
the waters rise high.
And then the sirens wail,
when vigilance has been kept.

I watched too with Celestial guardians,
for dangers are countless in the dark,
as the enemy with fierce rage descends
and unleashes a dreadful flood upon our hearts.

And then a sinister deception occurred.
The Sacred Covenant was trampled upon.
A wicked criminal traded in the Temple,
yet no one seemed shocked or withdrawn.

Wolves occupied the pulpit -
not a single lamb bleated in alarm.
And after Judas' yearning for Mammon,
the warmth gave way to chilling calm.

For long, I was a siren for souls,
never ceasing my anxious call.
Every word I shared, given,
in light of the Sacred Example of Christ.

But my hair turned gray with sorrow,
and sadness settled deep within me,
when they saw a threat in the guard,
and in the siren - dark arrows.

How can I write in these uncertain times?
How can I be crucified for them?
If they see black in the white,
and in the Sacrifice - mortal sin?

With threats comes anxiety.
And today, anxiety is seen as heresy…
And when they replace their God -
prepare to be deemed unfortunate.

For in a field overrun with weeds,
a wicked disruptor is the grain.
And the siren watches in vain,
to startle them with the Divine Voice…

WINDOWS WITH WASHED GLASS

Radiant rays do not penetrate
through windows stained with mud,
but if a wretch sheds tears –
he has yearned for Heaven all his life.

And his soul will shine alive,
like a house built on a Rock,
while messengers in Heavenly attire
there will spread their mighty wings.

Just a handful of tears to exchange
and in his heart, with Jesus, he is rich.
No other such Holy invitation
exists anywhere in this fallen world…

For the spirit can give birth to everything –
feelings, music, words, dreams.
But his deep thirst
will tremble among bitter tears.

They are the pains of stone, hewn
from the Great and Holy Rock,
that returns its eternal longing
through windows with washed glass.

May Christ abide and shine,
like the Sun in a sanctified home,
while hope sings hymns
in the heart of one whose sins are forgiven…

I CHOSE FAITH IN CHRIST!

Unbelief is a thorny weed,
while faith is a pure white lotus.
A person will always reap
what they have sown.

One may have a barren field
with worms crawling through the dirt,
and from a harvest so thorny,
only pain and tears will emerge.

While another will create a garden,
filled with rays of God’s light,
so year after year,
it brings joy to shining eyes.

And let no one complain
when the day of harvest arrives.
What you’ve sown... That is
the life born from your choice!

One willpower! It’s what decides
the heart’s most pressing question…
So call out before the Father:
I chose faith in Christ!

ONLY WITH CHRIST

My enemy sends wind and waves,
and with fierce wrath he strikes,
but he will never darken
a heart that believes in its Lord.

It is tied with a heavenly cord,
stronger than the chains of hell,
and there’s no way a roaring lion,
can take away my eternal reward.

He will watch his wounded jaws
from the Sword that sharply pierced him,
for against his dark authority,
not flesh from earth, but lightning rises.

And caves will not conceal him,
not even deep pits in the earth,
when God says to him: "Tremble!
I bring you recompense for your deeds!"

My enemy sends wind and waves.
A sign that he has little time left.
Even if he succeeded in wounding me,
every wound turns into honor.

And my pain? It’s just a sign,
that I’m still on the Path and alive,
and in the battle with the unseen foe,
only with Christ will I prevail...

Stefan Glavchev

TO YOUR LORD BE TRUE!

Don’t succumb to sorrow,
for you’ve lived in grief and pain.
Life, true to Jesus,
is black on the outside, white within.

And there’s no meaning under Heaven
to switch places in a hurry,
even if temptation and deceit
might dress up as something sweet.

The rich today are wretched,
even if they're swimming in wealth.
They appear white, but deep down are dark,
and fury burns within their hearts.

It would be easier for a camel
to pass through the eye of a needle
than for a soul, begrudgingly bowed,
to shed its temporary burdens.

Lurking, the dark prince waits,
watching from the other side of the door.
His harvest is plentiful—
souls tethered by money and power.

And no cry of "Oh, God!"
will reach the heights of light...
It can’t, sinners! It can’t,
if the spirit has ensnared you in deceit!

After earthly and lavish glory,
the bow is paid beyond,
and no one there forgives
hearts that are prepared for judgment.

But you, be true to your Lord,
strengthen yourself in His Covenant,
and endure this cunning and bleak world
clothed in white garments.

WHY IS IT HOT IN HELL?

(In response to the grim statistics
from the two terrible wars in this world)

Warlike cries are unleashed
amid destruction, grief, and despair.
What warmth awaits them on the other side,
once their earthly time is done?

Human blood is spilling.
The weight of guilt grows overwhelming.
With wild fury, the killers
accumulate their own wickedness.

They are filled with blind hatred,
and their fingers hover over the trigger.
The icy world watches them,
coldly counting the dead.

When a victim dies, forgiveness
can no longer be granted from beyond.
And with this fact, so doomed,
the souls are snatched by hell.

For once blood is stained,
it won’t ever wash away,
and it’s only the devil with his horns
that the sinful eyes will see.

With a knife drawn, a brutal attacker,
not just one, meets his end,
and only in the fire does he understand
that he is a descendant of Cain.

For from the earth, the blood shed
screams against him,
while he is caught in the soul
by the jaws of a dark lion.

And down below there’s only an echo
of screams in the gloomy rocks.
No peace, no mercy, no solace
for the souls, once beasts…

Why is it hot in hell, I wonder,
and why are there no tears for killers?
You can’t take away something
that you’ve never given in the first place…

DISTANT TARGET

If a man loses one thing,
he becomes rich in another.
He may fall in love with Heaven,
or with this deceptive world.

And with this inevitable choice,
the heart will pay the price
to pursue its longings
toward darkness or to light.

Universal Truth will bear down
on each of its Holy Swords.
The earth will swallow earthly beings.
The spirit will soar away.

In two kinds, clearly divided,
fate will reveal itself.
And on the fateful arenas,
it will bleed from fierce battles.

In an unrelenting drama,
the world will dig a trench,
while the victims, with the fiercest flames,
will vanish in their love.

With a distant target—until
the flesh breathes its last,
and the spirit steps into the Holy
Heaven, which opens its doors…

THE MEANING OF THE LYRE

The divine meaning trembles,
Enveloping the heart of the poet.
He would not write in vain
Even a single random line.

Words are a sacred work
When the Spirit stirs within them,
And in an instant, Light descends
To shine with rays in our hearts.

The verse emerges like a song,
Sung in breath, suddenly,
And leaning over his notebook,
The poet flows forth like rain.

He pours out dreams, heals wounds.
He takes away pain and sorrow.
Skillfully, with chosen words,
He gives of himself in his offering.

To penetrate deep into souls
With comfort, with pearl-like waters.
To well up in the eyes from tears
And to carve long in memory.

Such is the entire fate
Of a spirit bound by words—
In a scorched desert
To give birth to blades of grass,

To be a stream, to rise up,
Captivating every thirst.
This is the meaning of the lyre,
Born to ring out the divine...

READ THE WORD! READ IT!

Read the Word! Read it!
The Creator has given you eyes!
A blossoming flower
blooms in the rays of the sun.

In the embrace of the Light
live each day and hour,
for the Lord has paid the price
to be alive in all of us.

Read the Word! Read it!
Fill every line with faith.
For with Innocent Blood in the verses,
the Holy Covenant is born.

And whoever, walking in Christ’s footsteps,
lifts their cross, will proceed,
having broken the chains of the flesh,
they will capture the Heavenly Spirit.

Read the Word! Read it!
It will grant you victory!
Your enemies will not frighten you,
as long as the Fire burns within you.

And somewhere beyond the Cross,
a bridge to God’s Kingdom,
you will measure your height
by the resurrected Christ.

WHAT IS WORTHWHILE IN THIS WORLD?

What is worthwhile in this world –
think, ponder, and understand.
Lies thrive in debauchery,
fear gnaws at the godless.

Death, with its dark shepherd's crook,
herds the foolish sheep,
and each one forges its own coffin
with its senseless heart.

The earth shakes in upheaval.
Above, fire scorches it.
And brothers – guns against guns –
are dragged towards destruction in hatred.

The corrupt ruler trades
and weighs souls on a scale…
What is worthwhile in this world?
Decide, my friend! Decide!

Don’t let Evil break you!
Don’t bow your head to sin!
Christ redeemed you with His Blood
and freed you from death!

For Him, sorrow is worth it,
grief with countless sighs.
For He is the Sun in the rainbow
and He is the only Meaning.

And even a caged bird in exhaustion
Will bloom with faith in cream.
May you too experience
Such a life devoted to God…
