MY GOD!

By Yasen Vedrin
(I Kneel Before You)

O God, pour out Your Life in me,
O God, my heart's true Guest to be!
I call Your mighty Name by day,
And seek Your face when shadows play.

O God of Grace, the Great I AM,
O God of Enoch, Abraham!
I long to breathe Your Spirit's light,
And give my life to You outright.

O God, You formed my lips to praise,
And sing Your glory all my days.
Because You gave Your Son to me,
That I might be Your child, set free.

UNDER THE STARLIT SKY OF BETHLEHEM

By Yasen Vedrin
(I Kneel Before You)

O God, let me with faith unseal my eyes,
My life, by Your own Holy Spirit born;
Grant me to see the starry, wondrous skies
Of Joseph and Mary in the silent morn.

Within that cave where darkness was undone
By radiant light, a glory from above,
Where infant cries beneath the manger shone,
Wrapped in a veil of tender, sacred love.

Let me become the fourth wise man to bring
A gift unto the little Christ so dear—
A heart that breathes His name in worshiping,
And dreams of Him as altar, ever near.

A soul that yearns for Him with honest dread,
A dream that kisses Him with holy fire,
And calls upon His Name, forever fed
By sacred longing and eternal desire.

And when, O God, I find Bethlehem’s grace,
Enfold me in Your Spirit as my shield—
May Joseph and Mary dwell within this place,
And Your Son be the Love that shall not yield.

WHEN I SEEK YOU

By Yasen Vedrin
(I Kneel Before You)

When I seek Your hand, pierced for me, my Lord,
My spirit sinks into a river deep,
Where sorrows fade by grace and mercy poured,
And all my grief in sacred waters sleep.

My spirit bathes within Your Spirit whole,
Illumined by the sun, by heaven's blue,
Where peace and bright ideal merge in soul,
In Love invincible, eternal, true.

When I seek Your hand, life unfolds like spring,
With blossoms bright on every branch and bough,
And I desire to spread my faith and sing,
In graceful flight, fulfilling every vow.

WITH THE SPIRIT OF DAVID

By Yasen Vedrin
(I Kneel Before You)

A David in my spirit seeks Your face,
A deer within my soul pants for the spring;
Grant him the heavens in his eager race,
To dwell with You, my Lord and eternal King!

To lift Your Love upon the harp’s sweet lyre,
And every single chord to sing of You,
To make Your holy pathway’s triumph ring
Across the mountain peaks and valleys through!

A David in my heart sings out Your praise,
A servant whose true Sovereign is alone;
No hundred lives could fill the endless days
Required to hymn the Gift that You have shown!

YOU WILL COME!

By Yasen Vedrin
(I Kneel Before You)

You will come from above like a ray in the skies!
You will be Love and passion, the dew in our eyes!
You will be the pure snow and the blue, calling out,
You will be the sweet start of a love without doubt!

You will be Wisdom and song, You will be joy and a flame,
You will be spring and autumn, the Temple of desire!
You will be bright consolation, forgiveness and dream,
You will be linen robes with Lebanon’s fragrance supreme!

You will be Faith and Eternity, the Path and the trace,
You will be laughter and kindness, the Living Water’s grace!
You will come, deeply yearned for, by the sighs of all men,
God and Lord Almighty! I wait for You, Amen!

QUESTIONS TO THE HEATHEN!

By Yasen Vedrin
(Mortal Remains)

What shall your spirit do, when all is through,
And when the Gate is shut and closed from view?
Will you find comfort in that bitter hour,
Amidst the shrieks of malice, hate, and fear?

Why live your life in selfish, narrow ways,
To reach a mad and tragic end of days?
Without a single thought of what you reap,
While your own heart drags chains in darkness deep?

The Good and Evil, seemingly so plain,
Now blur into a dangerous, dark domain.
And you are tricked within a cunning show,
A spectacle you never wished to know.

Will anyone bring back the time gone by,
To let him slumber carefree, without sigh,
While God is bound to make his pathway bright,
And keep him happy, free from sorrow's blight?

Why is it always far too late to mend,
When all that's pure is filthy in the end?
And Holy Golgotha, the final care,
For the blind sinner in his mortal lair?

Why, oh why? This slumber is like a tomb,
Where human destinies are sunk in gloom.
If Christ should knock, no answer will be heard,
For inside dwells a loud and worldly herd.

What shall your spirit do, when life is past?
Will it defeat the darkness at the last?
Will it look up to Justice, old and true,
Where God reveals His Word and Faith to you?

With Love I charge you – pass the Gate today!
Not tomorrow, nor on some imagined day!
But today, right now, for God is waiting here,
To rebuke the killer lurking in the dark!

TO ALL OF YOU, MY FRIENDS!

By Yasen Vedrin
(Pearl Seeker)

Live always guided by your Faith,
Cherish each moment Love imparts!
Give freely, for within the gift
Man bears the witness of Christ's heart!

Awaken always filled with Hope,
Sleep within those Good Hands so dear!
And may the Holy watch above
The loving Heart of God so near!

Forgive all pain and offense you bear,
Hold not debtors chained in sin!
The soul is like a shell so fair,
And laughter is the pearl within!

Be beautiful with Truth so clear,
With wondrous seeds within your breast!
And sow in fields plowed deep and near
Rays of Heavenly Light and rest!

Break earthly chains that hold you tight!
Do righteous deeds with all your might!
Be ready for the Moment's call
With longing and angel wings in flight!

Remember that the Lord Most High
In His own Image fashioned you!
Be His song that echoes through the sky!
Be His sparks that gleam so true!

For comes the Day and Hour so bright
When you shall see His Holy Face!
And all who lived with God in light
Shall be in Him in endless grace!

Amen!
