By Yasen Vedrin
(Fulfilled Premonitions)
Do read me, even if I am a song,
A sonnet of expected warmth, unfinished.
Discover to what fate I lines belong –
A wise man by his loneliness diminished.
Step inside my soul. As in a shrine,
Where only feelings bend their knees in prayer.
Reach out your hands for sincere flame divine,
Though sparks may doom us to a holy layer.
Out of our thoughts, life molds and creates space,
And gathers us in words of longing, blending.
For just a few awakened sparks of grace,
The lyre's strings are all that we are sending.
Do read me! And a flame will start to chime,
When ringing sounds ignite our dreams completely.
A sonnet for fulfilled days and time,
A memory of all we gave so sweetly.
